The nose, wide open, is comforting and evokes
matured yellow fruits (peach, apricot), brioche feature
indeed toasted and marked with a light touch of
liquorice. A pleasant aroma makes him immediately
approachable.
The vinosity, when exposed to the taste buds in the
mouth, reveals the combination of the complexity and
the great presence. The intense final taste provides a
mineral characteristic indeed salted, giving to the
wine an addition of flavours. A fleshy, round
Champagne with good expression of grape varieties
of the area they are from.
It’s a blending of year-to-day wine and “Reserve” wine.
70% of black grapes varieties from The Montagne de
Reims (45% of Pinot Noir and 25% of Pinot Meunier)
and 30% of Chardonnay.
This is the conviviality’s Champagne, melting freshness,
consistence and presence. It’s a Champagne to take a
little refreshment in winter near the fireplace, or after
a walk in the forest. It’s THE Champagne for meetings
with friends, for a great but simple dinner.
The mistress of house cooked a stewed meat (ragout,
tagine, …) or, in summer, grilled meat. For the
desert, all fruits deserts, pies or crumbles with
fresh, fleshy and soft fruits on an either crust or flaky
pastry. All these deserts suit perfectly with this
Cuvée de Réserve.
