The giant Octopus, Puwheke, resides at the end of Karikari Beach. It guards the entrance to Ranginunu harbour, and it dominates the landscape when you visit the Winery. ThatÂ’s why there is an Octopus on the label.
Tasting Notes:
Rich Red hue with a bright vibrant purple rim. On the nose, a complex mixture of oak char, plum, cedar wood and subtle hints of boysenberry jam. nicely focused rich palate, displaying jammy plums, and partnered with bracing oak. Typical Karikari tannins,
