"Toa means warrior in Maori.  It represents strength, power and boldness - all of which we believe are embodied in the wine.  It is a blend of Cabernet Franc and Malbec, with a small dash of Pinotage, specifically selected to provide strong characters and smooth tannins; not a shy wine, but more of a statement of Karikari Estates direction and position....this is where we are and what we can do."
